The Factor Elara is Factor's aero gravel race bike: road-race geometry, deep aero tubes, a wide-stance fork and clearance for 57 mm tyres. It replaces the Ostro Gravel as the fast one in Factor's range.

Gravel racers and riders whose gravel is mostly fast and hard-packed. If your rides are long, rough and loaded, the Factor Sarana is the better Factor.

The Elara is stiffer, faster and sharper-handling; the Sarana is longer, more forgiving and carries bags. Pick the Elara for events and speed, the Sarana for distance and adventure.

At 57 mm tyre clearance it can be, on the right tyres — but the frame and position are race-first. Expect a road-bike feel on gravel, not a cushioned one.

The Factor Elara clears tyres up to 57 mm. Most riders run 45–50 mm for racing and 50–57 mm for rougher terrain.
